One of the most difficult aspects of looking for a job is putting up an impressive resume.
For the most part, companies read each CV for a few seconds before tossing it into a "Yes" or "No" pile. So follow these top ideas for crafting a CV that gets you the interview you need while applying for overseas and abroad job in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai or any other place. 

1.    Keep it real

As a general rule, the length of a CV should not exceed two pages—two pages of A4 paper! When it comes to CVs, employers spend an average of only 8 seconds looking at each one, and sending them your full life narrative is a definite way to be rejected. Keep it short and to the point, and don't go into too much detail.

2.    Include a statement of your own

If you're applying for a job, don't merely assume that your previous experience is relevant to the position. Instead, craft a one- or two-paragraph essay outlining why you're the ideal candidate for the position.

3.    Look out for errors

A mistake on your CV may make you seem unprofessional to employers, and this is something you want to avoid at all costs. 'With the high volume of applications that most employers are receiving at the moment, providing them an excuse to dismiss your application because of avoidable errors will not help you win an interview. Consider using a spell-checker or having someone else verify your work for you. Do not overlook the most prevalent CV errors, however.

4.    Don't leave any voids.

Employers are skeptical of anybody who has gaps in their work history, and they won't give you a chance to explain yourself if they see them. If you've been unemployed for some time, you may be concerned, but try to see the bright side of things. Aside from formal education and training, did you gain any soft skills, such as effective verbal and nonverbal communication, collaboration, or leadership? If this is the case, let everyone know!

5.    Customize it to your needs

To save time, the majority of the people have sent the same CV to many companies. Stop! If you're applying for a variety of positions, it's best to tailor your CV to each one. Using the company's website and the job description, find out exactly what abilities you should be highlighting. There is no doubt that they will appreciate the effort.

6.     Make sure it's up-to-date

Whether you're searching for work or not, it's important to maintain your resume current. Record anything noteworthy that happens in your profession so that you don't lose track of it later on.

7.    Make it search engine friendly

Keywords are critical if you've posted your resume on a job board for recruiters to locate. Your resume will stand out from the crowd if you include job titles and keywords. Confused? No, you should not be. SEO (Search Engine Optimization), direct marketing, and digital marketing are all examples of marketing expertise and talents that may be mentioned by a candidate. If you're unsure, you may look up the most regularly used keywords for your job title on the internet.

8.    Keep your word and speak the truth

Isn't everyone dishonest on their resume? NO! Stop! When it comes to getting a job, lying on your resume might get you in hot water with potential employers. You don't want to start a new job just to have it terminated because you lied about anything. At the interview stage, you may find yourself unable to answer questions about what you claim to know. Also, there may be a lot of pressure!
