Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Job Description: As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage daily activities, providing leadership and support to the restaurant staff. You will report directly to the Restaurant Manager and work closely with the management team to maintain our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of restaurant staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure optimal performance and a positive work environment.

  2. Customer Service: Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting patrons, handling customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and ensuring their overall dining experience exceeds expectations.

  3. Operational Efficiency: Oversee restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

  4. Quality Control: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.

  5. Training and Development: Assist in conducting training sessions for new and existing staff to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.

  6. Order Management: Manage and track food and beverage orders, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers.

  7. Financial Accountability: Work closely with the management team to achieve financial objectives by controlling costs, optimizing sales, and maximizing profitability.

  8. Shift Scheduling: Organize and manage staff schedules efficiently, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and busy periods.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar supervisory role in the food service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate the restaurant team.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and a passion for delivering memorable dining experiences.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality or related field is an advantage.
