Position: Ready Mix Driver

Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Ready Mix Drivers to join our team in Oman. As a Ready Mix Driver, you will play a crucial role in the construction industry by safely and efficiently transporting ready-mix concrete to various job sites. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of concrete, adhering to all safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Concrete Delivery: Safely operate the ready-mix concrete truck and transport the concrete to construction sites as per the assigned schedule.

2. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in optimal working condition. Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the supervisor.

3. Load and Unload: Collaborate with the loading team to ensure the concrete is loaded accurately and securely on the truck. Safely unload the concrete at the job sites following proper procedures.

4. Adhere to Safety Standards: Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines during the transportation and delivery process to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.

5. Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, such as delivery tickets, logbooks, and maintenance reports, accurately and promptly.

6. Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with the dispatch team, site supervisors, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

7. Customer Service: Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude towards customers and construction personnel, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements:

1. Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid heavy-duty driving license appropriate for ready-mix concrete trucks.

2. Experience: Proven experience as a Ready Mix Driver or in a similar driving role is preferred.

3. Driving Skills: Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Knowledge of local traffic rules and regulations.

4. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks related to the job, such as loading and unloading concrete and occasional maintenance work.

5. Safety Conscious: A strong commitment to safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure working environment for oneself and others.

6. Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet delivery schedules.

7. Communication Skills: Basic English language proficiency to understand instructions and communicate effectively.

8. Flexibility: Willingness to work long hours and weekends, as the job demands.

9. Adaptability: Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments.

10. Age Requirement: Must meet the minimum age requirement set by local regulations for operating heavy-duty vehicles.
