Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Packing Supervisor to join our team in Dubai. The Food Packing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the packaging and quality control of food products in our facility. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in food packaging and demonstrate strong leadership skills to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the packaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise Packaging Operations: Direct and monitor the food packaging operations to ensure compliance with company standards and quality control measures. Oversee the packaging process from start to finish, ensuring that all products are packed correctly and meet the required standards.

2. Quality Control: Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures to ensure that all food products are packaged accurately, meeting hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards. Conduct regular checks to verify the quality and accuracy of packed items.

3. Team Management: Lead and guide a team of packaging staff, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations. Ensure that the team follows the established processes and maintains a high level of productivity.

4. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of packaged products and packaging materials, ensuring sufficient stock levels are maintained at all times. Coordinate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of packaging materials.

5. Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of packaging machinery and equipment. Schedule regular inspections and repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

6. Adherence to Safety Standards: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations within the packaging department. Conduct regular safety training sessions for staff and promote a culture of safety awareness.

7. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate packaging processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement efficiency-enhancing measures to optimize productivity and reduce wastage.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in food packaging, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A relevant degree or certification in food technology or related fields is an advantage.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety and quality control standards. Familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment is preferred.

• Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with team members, management, and external stakeholders.

• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail is essential to ensure accurate and error-free packaging.

• Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, including weekends or extended hours when required.

• Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to maintain records and generate reports.
