Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Catering Helper to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a Catering Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our catering operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of all culinary activities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the catering team in preparing and serving high-quality meals and beverages to our clients and customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of various dishes, snacks, and beverages as per the established menu and recipes.

2. Food Service: Help in serving meals and beverages to clients and guests during events, functions, and gatherings.

3. Setting Up: Assist in setting up dining areas, buffets, and food stations, ensuring they are clean, organized, and well-stocked.

4. Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and keeping workspaces tidy.

5. Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of food items, beverages, and supplies, and communicate restocking needs to the catering supervisor.

6. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' inquiries, assisting with special requests, and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.

7. Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, as well as health and safety regulations, to ensure a safe dining environment.

8. Assistance to Cooks: Support the chefs and cooks in various tasks as required, including ingredient preparation and cooking assistance.

9. Event Support: Help in the setup and breakdown of catering events, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly handled.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

2. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the catering or hospitality industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

3. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

4. Team Player: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work harmoniously with other catering staff.

5. Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to follow instructions precisely and pay attention to the smallest details, ensuring food quality and presentation.

6. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per catering schedules.

7. Language: Basic proficiency in English or Arabic is preferred.

8. Hygiene Conscious: Comply with hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment.
