Job Title: Heavy Driver

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Driver to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of safe driving practices, excellent maneuvering skills, and the ability to operate heavy vehicles efficiently. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely and secure transportation of goods and materials, while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate and drive various heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles, to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
2. Adhere to the assigned routes and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
3. Conduct regular inspections of the assigned vehicle, checking for any mechanical issues or maintenance requirements, and report any discrepancies to the appropriate authorities.
4. Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, vehicle load limits, and road signage, to ensure the safety of the vehicle, cargo, and other road users.
5. Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and secure placement within the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation.
6. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
7. Communicate effectively with the logistics team and supervisors to report any delays, issues, or concerns related to the transportation of goods.
8. Demonstrate professionalism and a customer-oriented approach when interacting with clients or recipients of the delivered goods, ensuring a positive representation of the company.

Requirements:

1. Valid Saudi Arabian driving license for heavy vehicles (minimum of 5 years' experience).
2. Proven work experience as a Heavy Driver, with a solid track record of safe and efficient transportation of goods.
3. Familiarity with the road network and transportation routes within Saudi Arabia.
4. Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to perform minor repairs and inspections.
5. Understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to the transportation of goods, including the proper securing and handling of cargo.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in Arabic. Basic English proficiency is a plus.
8. Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading tasks, as well as the ability to work in varying weather conditions.
