Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine rebar placement.
Measure and cut steel bars to required lengths using tools such as shears and torches.
Bend, shape, and tie steel bars together using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Assemble and install rebar cages and structures within concrete forms.
Ensure that all rebar is securely and accurately positioned.
Inspect and repair damaged or incorrect installations as needed.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters, concrete workers, and engineers.
Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Steel Fixer in the construction industry.
Knowledge of rebar types, sizes, and grades.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Proficient in using steel fixing tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments.

Valid work authorization in Oman.
