Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Expertise: Demonstrable expertise in Indian cuisine with a focus on a variety of regional dishes, spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.

Menu Creation: Contribute to the development of diverse and appealing menus that showcase the rich flavors of Indian cuisine while catering to local preferences.

Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian dishes, including but not limited to curries, tandoori items, biryanis, dosas, and more, while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.

Ingredient Knowledge: Possess a thorough knowledge of Indian ingredients, their quality, and how they interact in different dishes.


Hygiene and Safety: Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment at all times.


Equipment Mastery: Proficiency in using and maintaining kitchen equipment specific to Indian cooking, such as tandoor ovens, grinders, and traditional utensils.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a diverse culinary team, communicating clearly and coordinating with colleagues in the kitchen.

Adaptability: Able to adjust recipes and cooking techniques to accommodate dietary restrictions, customer preferences, and special requests.

Qualifications and Experience:

Culinary Education: A formal culinary education or relevant training in Indian cuisine is preferred but not mandatory.
