Job Overview
Responsibilities:
Lay and align concrete blocks in a precise manner to construct walls, partitions, and other structures as per architectural plans and specifications.
Mix mortar, cement, and other materials to create the appropriate consistency for masonry work.
Ensure proper measurements, alignment, and levelness during construction to meet quality standards.
Use various hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and power tools for cutting and shaping blocks.
Apply finishing touches to masonry work, such as cleaning and smoothing surfaces and adding decorative elements if required.
Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and supervisors, to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for oneself and fellow team members.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any issues to supervisors.
Keep accurate records of materials used and work completed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven experience as a Block Mason or in a similar masonry role, with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
In-depth knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans.
Proficiency in measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.

Additional Information:
