Operational Oversight: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and ensuring a smooth flow of service.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the restaurant staff to provide exceptional customer service. Delegate tasks effectively and create a positive work environment.
Guest Interaction: Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and gather feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.
Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and managing stock to minimize wastage and ensure product availability.
Staff Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing staff schedules to optimize productivity and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Training and Development: Support training programs for new and existing staff, focusing on customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
Financial Management: Contribute to monitoring costs, analyzing financial reports, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the culinary team, bar staff, and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of services and events.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
Customer-Centric: Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally.
Communication: Excellent communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, make quick decisions, and effectively resolve operational challenges.
Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing customer demands and business needs.
Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of financial principles, including cost control, budgeting, and revenue generation.
